Offense wins some days, and defense wins other days, which is the way Spring Football is supposed to be. Even though we won last Friday and got to wear the black jerseys, today, the defense got the better of us. That’s the give and take of spring ball.

On the O-Line, we’ve had some injuries, a few guys banged up, so we’ve had to move some people around. Even though we took a step back today, for the past couple of weeks, I’ve been pleased with the leadership that Jordan Holmes has displayed, and I think that Nick Cody has come along at the right tackle spot. Those two guys are doing some good things.

I expect us to come out on Wednesday with a little more energy and we’ll be ready to compete with the defense and prove what we can do.

I had a great Easter weekend and got to see a lot of family on Sunday for dinner. On Saturday, I hit the upper Willamette, caught lots of fish and enjoyed a real good day.

It’s Monday, and that only means one thing around here, we all can’t wait to see what Jack Bauer gets in to on 24 tonight!
